Heart's Re-Creation Start
In God’s sanctuary offering bliss glow
The Prince of peace brings to me blessings’ flow
reaching out to my soul from despair blow…
yes, He guards me against sin-guilt’s billow.
With earnest confession of my life’s need
I do trust the Saviour Who can free indeed
from agony caused by past failure’s breed…
oh, He cheers up and His promise I heed.
Triumphant to vanquish self-pity’s blight
I'm drawn by faith through the Lord’s mercy's might
just as I am, seeking His grace-filled light…
thus, He keeps me in His blest truth and right.
Coming to Christ’s throne with repentant heart
thanking His love that can never depart
my spirit He heals from remorseful dart…
now, He leads me for re-creation* start.
*2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
