Hearts Healed By Hurling Fate

It's a miracle and rare Finding two hearts that need repair From years of being alone Because they were used and thrown With each piece that was taken By lovers that left them shaken Afraid to give someone a chance With hearts scorned and in a trance Curled up --- not wanting to fall When a new love came to call Shutting down from new arrivals Hurt to bad from all the trials They both faced for years on end Now they just want to defend Their hearts keeping far away From adventures that just might Open up and let some light Into their sad lonely world Till fate stepped in and finally hurled Them together and they saw A love like never before New days will begin to follow No longer they feel hollow As hearts are now being stitched Back together --- they are hitched Now and always-- no concern They will hurt again and burn Staring into eyes they know The inner peace that can show Through minutes of happiness Settling for nothing less
