Heartbreakingly Beautiful, the Angel That Saved Me

Heartbreakingly Beautiful, The Angel That Saved Me Heartbreakingly beautiful, she that saved me Although bound as I was so blindly being free Unseeing that life was a trap, a prison cell I so long in prison, I could no longer tell Dawn woke and its light an angel to me gifted To share life, love - in that a soul was uplifted. Pray I, giving thanks for her love and her dear hand. She that gave, so loved, taught me to truly stand. Heartbreakingly beautiful, she that saved me From Heaven a treasure, sent to teach me to see When her touch, her soft kiss, this prisoner did wake Man, world had deceived to take all he could take Rose from that dark abyss and in her light did shine For her solemn oath said, "love hath thus made you mine"! Under bright new sun, we basked in life anew Our love blossomed, in its true light we both grew Before us a romantic paradise was soon cast Under golden moonlight, our ship sailed full mast There in our new home, in happiness we did dwell Shielded from darkness and this world's revolving hell. Pray I, giving thanks for her love and her dear hand. She that gave, so loved, taught me to truly stand. Heartbreakingly beautiful, she that saved me Although bound as I was so blindly being free Unseeing my life was a trap, a prison cell I so long in prison, I could no longer tell Dawn woke and its light an angel to me gifted To share life, love - in that, a soul was uplifted. Pray I, giving thanks for her love and her dear hand. She that gave, so loved, taught me to truly stand. Robert J. Lindley, 4-01-2022 Romanticism, Dedicated to my dear and most beloved wife, Clarisa Tapican Lindley

Ego qui nunc maximum thesaurum fictilem perdidi; dilectum meum uxorem.... ---- O' that such loss could not be true In that we could live, love anew You the angel, I the blessed And our true love, we both confess...

Twas life and love that we shared Treasure, gems never compared Happiness and joy came so swift All was love cast to so uplift.... This morn, write and reveal came unto me Waking to again walk and see Gasp at dawn's brighter, dancing glow And our love's truth to again know.
