These Tanka are so difficult because of the short syllable count. This is only the third one ever I have written, so your fave is very meanngful Maria. Thank you very much. How are you doing? I am on the mend. xxoo

problem with captured broken hearts, they sometimes find themselves in a cage...this is really well done should do well...good luck

Oh, this is a nice and deep one. Love that he steps "through a low portal" - there are many ways to describe a passage, and this has a special vibe. Good luck in the contest.
