He Took Your Bread and Went Out-Out-Out
“As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night” John 13:30
He took your bread and didn’t wait for the drink
He went out
And it was night
…yet he betrayed you…
Dear Lord, I have taken your bread
Patiently I received your drink
Help my soul
Do not let 'the door' open unto me
I want to remain in here with you
No! I don’t want to go out
I mean go out
It is NIGHT
And it is dark
I might miss the way
Help would be far fetched
I don’t want to dash my feet
Against the stones of cares of this world
I don’t want to fall into the pit
That is hidden from the naked eyes
I don’t want to drown in the sea of pressure
I don’t want to be at the mercy of leisure
that comes with pleasure of this world
No! I don’t want its ride that Judas rode
Judas went out and he never returned, never ever
Lord don’t, don’t let me go-o-o-o-o
You prayed for Peter and things went better
Though it was later but he became greater
Oh, ‘Mercy said no
I'm not going to let you go
I'm not going to let you slip away
you don't have to be afraid
mercy said no’
Hey! Judas slipped and slumped
Slipped of tongue till his feet slipped
He slipped, slipped and slipped till his life spilled
He went out just like Dinah
"And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. 2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her." Gen. 34:1-2
Judas and Dinah went out
Out of divine coverage
Out of divine protection
Out of divine provision
Out of divine network
Out of divine instruction
Out of divine guidance and ordinance
He went out-out-out. Oh! Judas why?
