He Rose Again, Oh Victory
8686
Behold the blood poured out for me!
Oh wretched man am I,
That for my sin, upon a tree
A spotless Lamb should die!
Come, see the thorns upon his head,
His nailed hands and feet,
His blood poured out for sinners' stead,
The cup so bittersweet.
He rose again, oh victory!
All praises to the Lord,
For he has set the captives free!
Rejoice in one accord!
He lives! He lives! My Jesus lives!
His song's my life, my breath!
For all transgressions He forgives!
He has put death to death!
"Oh, grave where is your victory?"
"Oh death where is your sting?"
The grave is not the end of me!
Revived, my soul shall sing!
