He Will Be back soon. That is what he said. Don’t worry, it is just a phase. That is what his family chimed, nearly sang. He took the good car, He took all the money, from every account. He took all of his clothes. He took the house money from the can above the stove. He took all things of “value”. He left the house, our home... with the mortgage payment. The one that I have no job to pay. He left the children. He said nothing to them. What story should I make up? He left, not his life behind, but the one we built together, as it no longer fit his needs. He did not want it any more. So he threw it away. He threw me away. He left.

I have heard this story often, and I have also heard how the person who has left begs later to be taken back, but to no avail.

I hope this is just a poem Ann, if not then this is a tragic situation. Sadly this is a common tale and I agree with Carol our society in this regard needs fixing. This poem was very moving Ann. Hope all is well with you...Best wishes as always...Ron xx
