He Just Didn'T Speak

The boy's mouth never opened his face and hands spoke He was, they say, easy to like played sports, rode his bike... As an adult, nothing changed He just didn't speak Winning friends with a smile, a gesture, or kiss on the cheek And when he passed away, as all people do a silent eulogy accompanied him too

Sometimes the silent are the most helpful people in the world, uplifting people with their soft silent ways.

I hope his soul can still feel the warmth of the mourner's smiles and gestures of sadness and love as they kiss him on the cheek. Gestures sometimes speak louder than words. I liked this poem very much.
