Have You Ever

Have You Ever Have you ever thought you wanted to be Standing there looking like a tall oak tree With dangling branches and long leaves Being someone who in God always believes. Every day when I did look out my door To see bright neighbor who was never a bore I am sure it would be perfectly alright If over for a few beers me he does invite. Out of this should you try to make music? While a fudge cycle are trying to lick And knowing that you are pretty picky Is hard to play when fingers are all sticky. What if you climbed tree to play next song? And brought your fabulous guitar along But then it all had turned into a trap Discovered you forgot to bring the strap. Of my love, my great guitar was a token And down below tree it now laid all broken Moron like me who his each day increases Saw his guitar that was busted to pieces.
