Have Always Been Veterans

Have Always Been Veterans World revolved around war called Revolutionary And there were graves of soldiers in a cemetery Located on a ridge overlooking some small town On clear day could be seen when you look down. Had never been quite sure or whether or not Another war one day would have to be fought People with each other have now become civil Rock back and forth in chairs or may swivel. There was blue and gray without red and white Who gave them the right to one another fight Against themselves then have to cry and bleed Grow old with a hair line which now does recede. War had ended while suffering still seemed to last All of it has now became part of an important past Battle Hymn of Republic North started to hum Moved to South and Southern have now become.
