Haunted Castle

The dark haunted castle
spread fear amongst the villagers
no one dared approach at twilight.
little anyone knew
it was a proper den of thieves.

A very clever machination ! The thieves can easily hide their booty there and stay safe away from public interference. You have given a neat twist at the end !

Maybe it was the thieves themselves who spread rumors of the castle being haunted. I enjoyed this a lot, Victor. :)
