Haste Not of Dreams Untold
Spendy jeans
And childhood dreams
Fancy face
And flowering lace
Silly chats
And texting spats
First time kiss
And love that missed
All the guys
In studly guise
and all the girls
In hairs that twirl
With prom night dreams
And home coming queens
Each all night dance
That holds a chance
Each giggle and laugh
And eyes that glance
I tell you now
For sweet sixteen
Shall quickly pass
For now
Hold tight
For youth shall reign
Forever young
Each moment ingrained
And in your heart
Be pure as gold
Of loving thought
And giving souls
I tell you now
Without a doubt
Haste not
Of dreams untold
