Happy Valentine's Day
This is the day that we celebrate
Love between two hearts
Two souls who found beauty
And hope and faith and peace
So much joy that it’s beyond belief
Within the commitment of a bond
Chosen for the love that brings home
To the two hearts who know
This is a life that has been blessed
By the One who made us to love
The One who gave us the opportunity
To know what it is to experience
A love that lifts hearts to new heights
Colors worlds in the most gentle warmth
And whispers serenity into those who know
That love like this is love that can’t compare
It is a love that holds wonder on the air
Silences doubts and confusion and fear
Fills the mind with a compassion that frees
The heart and soul to go above and beyond
To express this love that is alive on the inside
Love that is a fire burning with such a light
That it reflects God’s grace in its praises
Of a love that brings nothing but tenderness
A sense of affection and adoration that is alive
Breathing out the splendor of what it feels
The real love that comes alive on the senses
Who know that only God could have planted
Such a brilliant feeling within these two souls
Two who know this love is a blessing from above!
