Happy Days Mean Cousin Is Here

Remember when you were a child, jumping up and down with glee to see your mean cousin who always pretended to like you for about ten minutes? But then she turned on you, and left you out, each and every time. Saying you were too young to play with. But did you go away gladly? Of course not. Remember how you ran after her, begging for her scraps, promising to give her all of your firstborn children if she would play with you? Remember the way she got that gleam in her eye and demanded so many things from you? And made you feel worthless and unwelcome? Happy Days! That cousin is coming to visit the other relatives this week. She may have changed. Let’s hope she has. But in case she has not, do you not have something more interesting to do? Hopefully, you have outgrown letting this relative into your life, right?
