Happy Anniversary To Parents

Mom and Dad, though not here,
this day forever, makes me so
              glad!

To many others, of all colors and 
creeds, you gave, greed was not your              
              need.

God saw what you did, blessing you 
with such outstanding, endless,
              abundance.

I think of you each day, and truly,it makes 
your daughter's heart twirl, doing a happy
               dance!

Because of you both, I have all my fingers 
and lovely        
                toes.

Your granddaughter, now as beautiful,
as a blooming, fresh,scented Spring 
                 rose.

Your grandson,intelligent, a true American, 
ethical, kind and never
                  bold.

We live in a city, where God, country,
family always comes 
                   first.

It all began with you, two, and thus we
live lives with no spiritual
                   thirst.


Thank you for life, what a fantastic couple, 
husband...and his loving,
                    wife!

They did their utmost to be good examples of what a human being should be. GLAD THEY MARRIED. Their lessons live on in my family. Terrific,I think. It really costs to be genuine. But~ there is no other way to fly! Imagine! A life lived by pretense? Not good! In the end, who are we...really? Words to impress with imagery and wit. Or are we more than that? Such kindness, great senses of humor. Of course, from what you shared with me, you are made of the same cloth as they. I mean a giver, not a taker! Not out to be top of all poets, but out to be a top human being. There is no prize for that, is there? You are not out to harm another poet. You are a safe haven for souls like me!
