Half Seen
Much is seen above,
less is visible below
Celestial thoughts
have elevated luminosity
Subterreanean feelings
possess a catacomb void glow
The sun shines with sparkling clarity,
as rainbow-coated ephod epiphany branches
bud more colorful leaves on the tree
Does not the root of a problem
tend to be buried deep
in the bosom of darkened vanity?
Cat napping people will try to kid you;
meow yellow snow you,
bow-wow poo-poo you with half-truth
Lying down, they feral growl how faith
is a soiled commodity
That life be buried bones dirty business,
a fertilizing necessity
Top dollar worm bred,
bottom feeder piggy led
Half-full, hunger pain still ...
half-empty, pleasure overkill
Most things are always only half-seen
A rising cloud of self-discovery,
often begins
with a lowered eye dirt journey
Dead space in the head
reserves a place
in the heart of silence ...
Where too many needful things
were muted left unsaid
Vulnerable aorta trust
desiring to pulmonary be only partially seen
In a canopy of sequoia integrity,
evaporated tears are rising
above heavy rainforest suspicion
Love is always forever rooted
in the deep, unseen place,
where insecure fears descend below
the crusted pride surface
Growing affection can always be seen
in the glowing countenance on a sunflower face
Emotions once only half-seen,
now are kiss evergreen fully blooming ...
Starlit aurora dreams
cresting upon a moonbeam ray
Angelic promises ... no longer half-seen,
arching upward in dawn eyes opening
Such a soul awakening display
