Haiku To Monoku

Haiku to Monoku Writing wee little poems Exercises brains. And inside the heart A soul finds its reigns. Conceived from the start. Thought therein remains. A picture clicked in phrases. New beginnings obtained. Nostalgic surprises! Perhaps a simple quote, Consciousness arises. Dreadfully dawning, remote. Distant dreams surmising As words to paper flow. A petite poem finds birth. Where love or havoc lurked. A naked soul unearthed. As hearts bare their pride. Writing wee little poems, Which were once locked inside. © Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen February 14, 2010 Poetic form: Shape

This poem has images in the mind which make one think of the photos in the album and stories behind them. I like this.
