Indeed, scrub too hard, and you'll start a boy scout's / girl guide's fire and turn it all to flame. These short poems, the Haiku are excellent. Some poets really have a talent to make large something that would seem quite small. You have a talent with the Haiku. Shall read your other poems/stories.
