Haiku of the Seasons

The fountain of spring earth sprayed with mother nature in colored petals. Summer jewel tones color and punctuate life poppys standing tall Leaves like a bouquet of splendiferous color a grand patchwork quilt Like star dust snow falls blanketing all with glitter a wonderland view.

Some more inspiring Haikus! But I can see that they have 'complicated' rules/structure than at first meets the eye! Terry

Terry read any of the comments that Kash Poet leaves for my Haiku as he is one of our resident top Haiku people. I am so hooked on these little things it is not funny. To say volumes in 3 sentences what power. lol

These were my practice Haiku and are really not very good but you won't understand why until you have learned a bit more about them. A Haiku if done right will make you go ahaa! in 3 sentences. Huggs TLee

Nice imagery.Of the three lines, two lines are to be connected grammatically and the 3rd one is separate line. This separate line can be the 1st line or the 3rd line of the haiku. And the separate line usually represents a snapshpt and something which can be perceived by 5 sensory organs.for example: her lips quiver without making a sound--- funeral song here the 3rd line is the separate line.Again sudden breeze--- the calendar page turns to june here the separate line is the 1st line..and no capitalization and punctuation:)
