Haiku - Shmaiku

HAIKU - SHMAIKU Seventeen moras And kigo and kireji : Who can figure it? Never could get it - Slap down unrelated words : Meaningless meaning. Call it poetry - OK, maybe in Japan But no way for me. Keats would be rolling In his grave if he saw me Writing a haiku. God forbid I should Ever twist my English so, So, I never would. 12 June 2011
