The vivid imagery in your poem just swept me away to a place I've never been before... Very nice work James!

Thank you Arthur. It is very roughly based on El Yunque. A tropical rain forest in Puerto Rico. A beautiful place with 3000ft mountains, gorgeous waterfalls and a species of Parrot that almost went extinct, at one time only 69 were left in the world, all in captivity. They have made a come back through breeding programs, and mating pairs have been released into the wild.

how wonderful this is, my friend DAVID (had you told me your name was David too before??) I don't remember that.I'm having major problems this weekend and have no time for comments except a few. I feel bad not to see more of your work since you saw so many poems of mine today. Thanks so much and I'll try to see more of yours later this week. You are such a good friend!!

Thank you Andrea, no David was just a joke because it was a poem about Davids. I was going to enter this in a contest but it filled before I could post it.
