Haiku - Storm

tempest through the night angry breakers lashed the shore ~ calm sea at sunrise Wind and water; powerful forces of Nature were the inspiration for this Haiku. I imagined spending the night in a lighthouse on a cliff's edge, watching the scene unfold. August 3, 2020 Traditional Haiku -Nature Themed Sponsored by Tania Kitchin

Sometimes in the darkness it seems that the storm will never end but the morning sun always lights the new day. May the sun always shine brightly upon your day, Jenna. Hugs, John

A nice ending to a long, stormy night. I hope that's a metaphor for this year's pandemic, Jenna. Nice haiku with strong imagery ~ John
