Hades
All the souls that have stood before the thrones
Before the lord, the day that judgment comes,
Caught between prying eyes and Devil bones.
Divided by good and ill fleshly done,
Evenly all men find their time has passed,
Finally in fear, their ears can hear His drum.
Good will be amended from evils cast,
Hell will set a price for souls unduly won.
Into this judgment no defense will last,
Just reverent counting with its final sum
Knowing their punishment will anguish great.
Losing of His light with blindness come,
Moaning, grousing and wailing resonates
Not falling on the ears already lost,
Only devoted souls may pass this gate.
Pray and pray hard, this test be passed at cost.
Quickly yet without time His judgment falls
Rearing from pain, with grief the lost are tossed.
Shelved deep within a fire with blazing halls
To burn and burn yet still their flesh survived
Until their suffering echoes up the walls.
View of this sight no man should be contrived.
With Kubla Khan no summer palace dwell
Xanadus is not where they've arrived.
You and I may pray to never see nor tell
Zoos of souls displayed, mislaid in hell.
