Had Brought In
Had Brought In
Our house a small kitten we had brought in
Who was kind of weary, tired and also thin
What he had done was to wonder away
To find a place like ours for him to lay.
God said this cute kitten we should inherit
Instead of a hamster or a Polly Parrot
And we could show him to our each friend
For all our love and comfort he does depend.
Purring has become his form of being polite
And likes to do it from morning until night
He will rub against my leg when I let
Even onto my lap will often get and set.
To us, he has become a perfect pet
And cutest one we have ever met
He has grown older year after year
We are glad our wonderful cat is here.
