Writtren for the Guess Who contest sponsored By Margarita Lillico

Once upon a moon in a faraway dreamland, Pirouetted a young girl, like a swan so grand. She walked and smiled through life in grace, the world too soon felt her emerald embrace. For she was the regal queen of healing hearts , her blue eyes, like swirling stars, never departs, she wore sapphires, carrying ocean deep emotions, served light and kindness through selfless devotions. In a valley that lacked empathy and love, she unfurled her invisible feathers of dove, enveloping grieving spheres with her flawless glow, as her voice painted sparkling rivers that flow. She stood strong for her children, hid her demons in silence, the wind carries her royal fragrance from seas of France, Who would have thought that her final resting place, would be a hollow tunnel, trailing her roseate trace? She will always live on, even in death, her candlelit song lingers, in darkness her silhouette strolls, touching frail fingers, reminding them to rise amidst a hail of hate, although skies drizzle tears of regrets upon her heaven’s gate.

Empress, you are fab at rhyme, a natural flow, eloquently done up for Lady Di! You know, I first believed it may have been Queen Antoinet, haha. I would love to see more of your rhymes, whoa! Hugs, and champagne wishes! Bubbly for your win!

I did notice the rhymes sweetheart and you have done an amazing write with them. You have mastered all forms. I love your free verse but I would love to see you do more rhymed forms as well as you write so beautifully. Missed you too. I’ve a lot of catching up to do with your masterpieces of which I’m always in awe of. Hope you are well - I see you as being our little princess here that wears her poetic crown so radiantly. Love and hugs to you xx

This is such a wonderful tribute in memory of our late princess dear Inky. I sure her beloved sons would love to read this. Such a shame they have drifted apart from each other. You have skilfully captured so much grace, love, compassion, that was embodied into her. So exquisitely penned, ‘ she unfurled her invisible feathers of dove’ ‘ as her voice painted sparking rivers that flow’. Beautiful - just beautiful. Congratulations on your placement. Hugs to you xx

IE, I had fun reading all the comments and your responses as well. I also enjoyed the way you praise Diana. I can feel the tender way you think about her and understand why you cried. She had a marvelous presence and exuded grace. It's unfortunate that she was treated badly in marriage. All hard for me to understand really since I would not do that to my own wife. I don't know why, but reading this makes me sad and angry and brings on mild tears. Life can be quite unfair.

Dear Empress, Why am I not surprised when you artistically create a deeply moving tribute to a remarkable soul whose presence illuminated the world with grace and compassion. Your amazing imagery of a queen of healing hearts, whose kindness and empathy knew no bounds. I love your poetic juxtaposition of her strength in the face of personal struggles with her ability to bring light to others' lives is both poignant and powerful. Empress, Your words are filled with profound emotion, honoring her legacy and reminding us of the enduring impact of love and kindness. Truly, a masterpiece of heart and soul. A Fav! - (I think I know her) Blessings Daniel

I was thinking it was a singer because of your reference to singing hearts. So I was thinking of singers with blue eyes. haha. Of course, I should have known who you really meant, especially your not being in the US!! Awesome one. She is much loved even by Americans. I loved the movie done about her a few years ago.

"In a valley that lacked empathy and love," At times, the entire world feels a valley, more often in light of today's politics. A sad tale...we will never know the truth. She was very lovely, and seemed a good mother and all around caring person. God love and cherish her.

I am sure this is Lady Diana, what an excellent choice you have for this contest.. Your poem describes some of her wonderful attributes so well... What an amazing and compassionate woman she was.. murdered because she was going to marry a Muslim.. How sad.. Too beautiful for this earth and taken too early.. This place is difficult for empaths and angelic people like her... All the best in the contest..

What an awesome tribute you wrote. my friend!-- She will always live on, even in death, her candlelit song lingers--For she was the regal queen of singing hearts---. I am hesitant to venture a guess, but I certainly share your thoughts based on your ornate descriptions, Ink. Josephine Baker, perhaps?

Exquisite at every turn, dearest Ink! How beautifully you told the story of Princess Diana (right?) with such a flowing rhyme scheme. Loved 'For she was the regal queen of singing hearts..' I remember the shock I felt after hearing the news of the crash and her death. The world lost a beautiful soul that day. Best wishes with the contest, hugs, Sara

Wow! This piece blows me away!! The intricate elegance it exudes, her essence you’ve captured so perfectly! Such a beautiful soul lost to the world. I’m truly enthralled with your words..”she walked and smiled through life in grace, the world too soon felt her emerald embrace” — such a tender and divine line..embracing her kindness and beauty..her walk through life with grace. “For she was the regal queen of singing hearts, her blue eyes, like swirling stars, never departs” — ahh,

One to never be forgotten, leaving her mark on the world and in people’s lives. “In a world that lacked empathy and love, she unfurled her invisible feathers of dove” — as she showed so many love..how you’ve woven these words into a true masterpiece, my beautiful soul sis! I wish I could just quote your whole poem, for the whole piece itself is truly so eloquent and graceful! It pulls at my heart strings and grazes upon my soul..your beautifully ethereal words describing such an angelic soul!
