Guarded Love
Why did you build a wall around yourself?
You don’t have to keep your secrets hidden.
When you do that I feel bad for myself.
Do you want this love to be forbidden?
It seems so since you ignore me lately.
Your seclusion is a much painful cry.
I want you to know I love you greatly.
But I learned something I cannot deny.
I will make sure I will hold your heart well.
I will always be with you anytime.
Together the time we share will be swell.
Everything I did to you was a crime.
You put a wall up not to keep me out,
But to prove I can love you without doubt.
