Making a decision
A step forward

Saying yes or no
Weighing the pros and cons

Knowing the best
What it suits me

Being clear
Of the sacrifices and adjustment
In order to be there

Voices of opinions
Around you 
In your ears

Sometimes overwhelming
Away from your conscious
What your heart really wants

The gut feeling
Screaming inside you

Paranoid
With what ifs

Making mistakes
Causing regrets
Boiling anger
Self destruct

Clouding your mind
Losing your way 

Almost forgetting
That you are the person
Facing this situation

Not all things
Not all reasons
Not all depth
They know about

Their words
Just guidance
Giving exposure and closure

Not the determinat
Of your life you living
You know the rules
Set sail

Streak it
Till that big break comes
Glorious

Anil Deo May 20, 2020 at 5:16 AM great advice in this poem, but a fast reader may miss it: "Paranoid With what ifs" is not the way to live. The BIG BREAK will come, of we are making ourselves ready (in heart, mind, spirit?). I hope I got some of your meaning in this really good poem Sue Sanzz May 29, 2020 at 1:11 AM Yup, it is all good.
