Green Skeleton and His Buddy

Green skeleton was lonely; he truly felt bad. Other kids made fun of him, laughed at his dad. Poked fun at his mother, his sister Jackie too. They made fun of their green color. What could he do? Why are we the only green family in town? He asked his parents. It gave him a perpetual frown. It’s okay, they said, it gives us an edge. Makes us unique. He did not like it. Being different is nothing he’d seek. But one day he found a best friend in a tiny pumpkin. A jack-o’lantern, with *****, spark and lots of gumption. When kids picked on him the Jack’O-L would take them down. He loved his best buddy; wanted to keep him forever around.
