Greater Is He That Is In You Than He That Is In the World 1 John 4:4

"You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood." 1 John 4:4-6*** My personal commentary: The Apostle John, who also later on refers to himself as John the elder. Was addressing fellow believers in Jesus Christ by the endearment personal phrase of "You dear children. are from God." Who have they overcome? The people of the world who are not from God. What is meant by the phrase: "...the who is in you is greater than he who is in the world?" First off the one that is in us is the Holy Spirit. But the one that is in the world is the spirit of the Anti-Christ and Satan. Because those who do not follow God! Do not have Godly viewpoints or opinions because they are carnally minded. The people of the world listen to their viewpoints. Because we are from God, however, those who have the Holy Spirit of God. Those people will also listen to us and pay close attention to whatever we say. How can the ones who do not listen to God, listen to us? It is impossible for them to do so! I have found out from personal experience as an on-line internet poet and writer. By following these guideline's we are able to tell the difference from the spirit of truth (the Holy Spirit) from the spirit of falsehood (the Spirit of the Antichrist and Satan) It is to be noted that neither the Holy Spirit was not directly mentioned nor was the spirit of the Anti-Christ and Satan. But the topic of the Antichrist was not directly mentioned as he is in other biblical references. "The spirit of the Antichrist is already in the world." The children of God vs the people of the world. Only the children of God have the spirit of truth indwelling inside of them. The people of the world have the spirit of falsehood (and deception) dwelling inside of them. The children of God hear his voice and listen to him. Whereas the people of the world do not listen to either God or us. Instead they listen to the spirit of falsehood. It is much better to be children of God And listen to the spirit of the truth!
