Just a thought when I saw one lone buzzard flying on the currents into the clouds..Sara

I LIKES this one filled with foreboding!! As for junk food junkie. that is how I was in my youth, Sara. I wish I could still eat that way and get away with it. But I watch what I eat now, always making sure to get one of my "bad foods" in from time to time!!

This is really a gloomy poem! I love how you used the vulture to "soar(s) on wind current(s)"! Very powerful line! And especially powerful is your juxtaposition! I love your whole poem! Great Work!!

Lovely atmospheric haiku here, Sara. I've never seen a vulture but I like watching a buzzard every morning when a lady leaves cat food for it.
