Notes About The Poem

This is just a poem I wrote because .... the picture.

Gravestone

"Here am I,
finally alone"
says this gravestone
placed on my bones.

I wonder why...

How long I have to sigh
under its monotone
grave good-bye?

***

Just a poem, nothing more :)

Clever play on words . . . as you make us laugh at a not so grave stone. 'He who laughs last, laughs best':) Amitiés

Oh so many times we feel alone and dead yet we are not...and how beautiful it is when we realize that we are not alone..and how wonderful it is that we can still breathe...till that day we truely be alone...But our bones are merely who we are beneath that stone..Your soul will float..finding our own..Never alone :).Love your inspiring poem Darren.

Top of the Evening Darren. You say just a poem. However, I view this with much thought and reflections. You allow the reader to look within and pause. You truly have expression here Darren. Honestly. Well done. Have a wonderful night.

Hahaha, I know what you mean, but I had it sitting on my blog for days. Just couldn't decide whether I dared to post it or not. Your gravestones DID help me decide though.
