Paige, this is so haunting and tender in its brevity. “Lovelorn ghost” holds such quiet sorrow, and the phrase “on cruel dust” lingers like a final breath. Stunningly concise and deeply felt.

This is so sad. Sometimes, yeah, we have those ghosts if not anything but memory. Been dealing with one myself of late....memory wise anyway.

Paige, I feel sorry for the ghost for sure. Life can be cruel for so many. Let's hope we can at least have meaningful love on this side of the dust. No telling what awaits on the other side and I'm inclined not to expect anything at all. Sending you smiles!!!
