Notes About The Poem

Gratitude

Gratitude in life is an important feeling to have -
             Recalling grief and pain is negative, I know this
  and everyday I find myself chained to the past again, but
tomorrow can be the first day of my life
               if that is what I  want -
   Tomorrow is full of amazing new adventures,
     unless with sorrow I wish to dwell forever.
Days are tick ticking away in this girl's life, so I must, must
       embrace each moment and be thankful for each new day.
