Love how you wrote this. First and last line look like the roof and floor amidst all the loveliness in between! I imagine you have a very warm kitchen, blessings abound.

Sounds lovely, my grandparents lived too far, so hardly saw them.. I still have one grandmother alive... but rarely get to see her, sadly... So I missed a lot of these things...
