Granny's Advice
Granny's words are priceless even though old,
Still feeling her presence the way she used to scold.
Missing the moment of holding her hand,
Even used to carry me when I was small to stand.
Once in the shop, I liked ice cream to eat,
'Don't buy you'll fall sick', she used to repeat.
Her way of thinking is no match to our ordinary view,
Mostly reminded, 'Be your self there's one that's you'.
'Enjoy the view but remember the roots', she used to remind,
She was supportive and also a teacher of a kind.
The moment I dance in the ground with the rain,
She ran and scolded for not having a proper brain.
She was my guide and an educator who always hold,
She's in my heart treasured as if like gold.
