Notes About The Poem

Grandma's Dementia

Grandmas in a mild utter confusion
In foolish notion in her delusion
Aboard the ironing board
To catch the surf waves, she roared
In bent knees she went, in her illusion

Sounds like she hasn't forgotten the fun things in life. My mother was the same, Hopefully if I ever get it I will have fun places to go back to. I am not sure the new crop will be able to remember how to even turn on a play station. My Mother could not remember how to work her washing machine. Wonderful poem, hopefully appreciated by many. Best regards David

Ouch! I can see myself doing such a think in the near future -- perhaps not in a skirt. The curse in my genes. Love it! Eve, did you create the image also, or were inspired by it? Joe.

She must have been at great loss of memory. Still a deft limerick. Best for a win. Hugs.
