Grandmas in a mild utter confusion In foolish notion in her delusion Aboard the ironing board To catch the surf waves, she roared In bent knees she went, in her illusion 7/15/2022 Limerick Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Lisa YY

Sounds like she hasn't forgotten the fun things in life. My mother was the same, Hopefully if I ever get it I will have fun places to go back to. I am not sure the new crop will be able to remember how to even turn on a play station. My Mother could not remember how to work her washing machine. Wonderful poem, hopefully appreciated by many. Best regards David

Ouch! I can see myself doing such a think in the near future -- perhaps not in a skirt. The curse in my genes. Love it! Eve, did you create the image also, or were inspired by it? Joe.
