Graceful Is Autumn
When autumn drifts, the winds blow calm and deep
Trees purplish- red flicker while moonbeams peep--
A November twirling its grace , an upsweep
Of leaves aloft outlined by rich meadow ’s heap…
That silhouettes of evening gently creep
Across vibrant horizon, colors sweep
Like jewels from mother earth, her blest reap!
I gaze in wonder at flowers asleep
Dainty they are on a knoll, my eyes weep
For bright cycle’s farewell now on a leap—
As harsh mist of winter begins to seep.
