Graceful Ageing
Ageing,
like good sex,
good faith,
good humor,
and/or good politics,
seems to be a focused process
Of becoming less judgmentally rejected
for the traumatized company I keep
And more happily appreciated
for surviving
the predative
and privileged potential companions
I have prudently rejected.
