Notes About The Poem

Gothic Trilogy the Red Rose of the Cross

She held a knife over my heart and feasted upon my emotions
My blood flowed through her veins
She was insane, beautifully insane
I devoured her visions
She devoured my soul
An axe slices my neck
My head rolls towards an empty tomorrow
My dreams have been stolen
In a coffin of unspoken silence
Run run run, escape the pain
Headless I join her
Totally insane

Always feels like that looking back, if you survive it. Many a man has joined in and never wished to leave. I've seen that before myself. Some like the insanity! A7 and a delight to read this creative trilogy!

Thanks Robert, this was all purely fiction, I myself like peace and quiet, and no drama!

Gives me a picture of a dominant wife who wants to change who you are into who they want you to be...never ends well
