Gotcha!

Tingly skies full of surprise oh how I love when with surmise, the little rascal aims his dart as if it were, poetic art! He conceals behind the blush of day, nips in, then dashes back away with ginning lips and silver bow, he strikes before I even know. A stranger smirk, I feel the spark— my calm heart a blind bargain, no shield, no plan, no grand excuse, just twisted thoughts and love let loose. Now here I am, without a clue… when cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do!

You captured Cupid’s character very well, Rowena ! Of course he is one of God’s favourite messengers & as with all Divine timing, we can do naught. My calm heart a blind bargain is a fascinating line ~ makes me think ! Many Cupid’s your way ! Xx ps. Do you mean ´grinning lips ‘ instead of ´ginning ´ lips ? If so, correct typo before submitting. Love ya.

Cute...adorable write. Very witty, well done. In fact, totally delightful! -- yep, he's still using his trusty bow, while others, less romantic, use tweets and emails. Old fashioned myself. Something about the tip of poetic arrow, that never loses its appeal. Beautifully penned. Brava!

Thanks so much! Yep, there’s just something about that bow-and-arrow charm—no emoji or email can quite compete. Guess some old-school things never lose their magic.
