Alouette
Created by Jan Turner, the form consists of two or more stanzas of 6 lines each, (12 lines or more) with the following rhyme scheme: a, a, b, c, c, b
Syllable count: 5, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7

Homeless on the street disheveled and beat most think they're abject losers, unkempt, filthy freaks without baths for weeks, street drunks and drug abusers. From crippled beggars to teen bootleggers, kinder souls can feel their pain and offer up change. A polite exchange, though their paths won't cross again. So much damage done young lives stripped of fun now forced to live on the street alone without friends, no chance for amends they are often robbed and beat. (Alouette) 02/20/2020
