Good Morning
Good morning friends and loved ones
Both near and far away.
The good Lord has allowed me
To live another day.
The big storm that was forecast
Did not arrive it seems.
I slept without a worry
And welcomed pleasant dreams.
Oh no, I am not lonely
Since my kitty came to stay.
His youthful exuberance
Brings brightness to my day.
With cell phone and with email
I’m allowed to stay alone,
As long as I remember
To report by mail or phone.
Good morning, darling daughters.
Your mother’s checking in,
Just as the doctor ordered,
To tell you how I’ve been.
