Gone With the Flash of Change
The azure ecstasy of the glistened desert sky
flutters away in the wild gust of the summer wind,
as on its wings the sands of the ashen squall fly,
gone with the surge the fleeting joy of the mirage mind.
On the concave canvas of the hanging horizon grey
the rainbow dreams gleam as the transient arc of art,
in the clasp of the curling clouds they melt away,
gone with the rains the washed colors of the broken heart.
In the verdant vase of the sun-soaked valley at dawn
the petals of still life's flower called solitude unroll,
until the cloudburst sky instantly comes crumbling down,
gone with the thunder the volatile bliss of the unsated soul.
The sparkling time in the glimmer of the crystal chandelier
shatters at the sudden strike of the unforeseen strife,
in the dark the feeble flicker of the candles disappears,
gone with the wind the last flash of the transient life.
