What are thou but just a flower heart defiled Gone grown and strong tower waiting to be for the devoured by the pestilences sorrow Grown Infected infested jowls Rose bud where hast thine powers Gone But just of a flower Withered and gone with no power Bloom, stem, petals withered and devoured Gone Withering Rose what are thine now Gone 2/13/21 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2021
