Gone Are the Yesterdays of Sorrow

Gone are the yesterdays that filled me with pain
No heartbreak remains of sadness and sorrow
I look forward to new days of cleansing rain
Dawn brings a fresh hope with each new tomorrow

Each night I pray and count all of my blessings
Dawn brings a fresh hope with each new tomorrow
I'll not worry o'er things that are not pressing

Each night I pray and count all of my blessings
I won't dwell on the past, nor trouble borrow
I'll not worry o'er things that are not pressing
To days ahead I'll look, and in faith, wallow
