Golden Warmth, I Pray

When the sun, rises… All things are like gold, But as it sinks All things grow cold… May golden sunlight Wrap you eternally And keep your heart, Your soul, and body, warm. Through cold nights When there are no lights, And other people aren’t kind May tears not drench you face, No, but I pray that you find Sweet comfort in God’s embrace. I pray... that a golden warmth wrap you in loving arms, So you feel protected by a chill that harms.
