James, I completely understand, and it's okay if you have so much you want to say. When you find a poem that speaks to your heart, the words simply overflow. You're able to visualize the moments within, as rain surrounds this woman in the photo. Such vivid images you paint, my dear friend. I appreciate you and your kind thoughts. : ) Hugs, Brandy

I love yor poem brandy - LIFE WAS slower, calmer, things and people in life held more meaning, seasons more defined, the word Love meant exactly that, not love ya, see you GIVING FLOWERS WAS A HEART FELT ACTION, NOT AN OBLIGATON, and so much more. Hope you are well my dear friend, the media has spoilt a lot for us. Love and hugs Brandy, Jennifer.

Dear Jennifer, you're right about so many things have changed. Seems many have forgotten the true meaning of love, giving, being kind and showing compassion. The internet hasn't helped, for sure. I appreciate you and your lovely comment. Many wonderful blessings to you, my sweet friend. : ) Hugs, Brandy

Brandy, you offer a quiet reverence for the simplicity of our youth. I love how your spacing slows the reader down, giving us the gentle pace of reflection. The phrase "tiny feet" paired with "simple moments" beautifully describes our childhood and the kind of purity we only recognize in hindsight. I love the piece. Excellent write, my friend.

Mickey, my heart wanted to reflect in these delicate moments. I appreciate you embracing them along with me. It's so kind of you to notice the soft phrases within, those expressing youth, along with sweet simplicity. And of course the spacing. It does help create a gentle mood. Thank you, my sweet friend. : ) Hugs, Brandy
