Golden Days
GOLDEN DAYS
There were days when I rejoiced,
happiness on success to access
enduring failure much less.
There were days when desires glazed
on expectations to cherish and raise.
each disappointment to erase.
There were days when hope soared high,
dulcet dreams dazzled far and nigh
Progress ahead never to sigh.
There were days to gallop gallant,
activities brilliant vibrant,
dynamic flow, not stagnant.
Those golden days once in peak of glory
turned dusty being buried in memory.
Now Past appears fictitious story.
