Your haikus are mostly centered on the scenes you daily watch from your kitchen or veranda. For the same reason, they are so realistic and beautiful. I always enjoy reading your haikus, dear Sara.

Why, thank you, Valsa. It doesn't take long to see something through the window which gives the muse an idea. Thanks for dropping by. The picture from the internet. Sara K

I, for one, find 'that gap in the fence,' highbrow humor! Don't know if you intended it that way, Sara, but it reminds me of the '1,000 tiles in the ceiling, and one is missing'-- and that's where the eye lands. Cheers, gw

Why, thank you, Gershon. Yes, the gap would definitely catch one's attention if it was from being unrepaired place or a deliberate gap that was left open. When I lived on a farm, we would always have places where there were gaps in the fence, but they had a gate that was supposed to be kept closed unless you were moving the farm animals from one pasture to another one. The gap in the fence in this one was a deliberate gap for going in and out but the fencing had a gate. I could see farther out into the area through that gap. Your visit is uplifting. Sara K
