Andrea, I enjoy looking for a picture that will fit my work. I write from what I see but I don't always take pictures and if I did, I haven't been able to upload them onto soup. Thanks for the visit with a kind comment. Sara

Maybe the frost acts as a bit of a preservative, as Fall inevitably fades?

Gershon, I have no idea but frost is part of fall and winter here in the south. It wiped all those leaves out anyway. They were mostly green with a little turning of gold and the frost hit and they all ended up on the lawn at least, in my yard. Other ginkgos turned yellow or gold and were really nice but mine did not make it this year as in many years. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Victor, We are having a warming trend for a few days with another front coming in maybe the weekend or Monday or Tuesday. I guess we need to enjoy the warmth while we can. The sun coming through the windows in the den today was really nice. Thanks for your visit. Sara
